Stacee Forrester

Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Aromatherapist, Level II Reiki Practioner

Hello! I’m Stacee

I have been practicing healing arts for over 20 years now and have loved every minute. I grew up in Ottawa and studied Social Sciences at Ottawa University (Sociology and Criminology), with the intent of helping out, in whatever way in our social world. I worked many hours as an assistant at a prominent criminal law office before deciding to grab the opportunity to travel for an extended period of time to Africa. Arriving back in Ottawa, I enrolled in the Aromatology course (study of plants) at Algonquin College, and then following that, the Aromatherapy Course of applied massage therapy where I graduated with Honours.

After practicing in Ottawa, I moved to Toronto to become registered massage therapist and graduated from Kikkawa College in 2014. I am adept at both therapeutic and relaxation massage therapy, and use techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy and Reiki. I have a special interest in treating repetitive strain injuries and low back pain issues. I have also had clinical experience working with clients with cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my daughter, gardening, cooking, biking, watching the next Netflix series we both might enjoy! Family is important to me, looking after ourselves, one another and our environment is important. Currently I am enjoying watching Race to Survive: Alaska, Alone, Amazing Race Canada and Food Network anything.

I strive, always, to provide the best possible care, through listening attentively, assessing, and then creating a treatment plan to address the condition of my client. I believe in a holistic approach to treating. It is when the body, spirit and mind are treated as a whole that healing can truly happen.
